Your Impact
New Mercies serves vulnerable families by hosting children through our Hosting Ministry, mentoring moms through our Rooted Together Discipleship Ministry, and offering a soon-to-come Supportive Housing Ministry where families can continue to grow in stability and community.
By meeting families in vulnerable moments, our hope is to contribute to providing outcomes such as stable employment, permanent housing, and healthy relationships. This will ultimately lead to decreased homelessness, foster care placements, unemployment, and mental health crises. Our desire is to see families flourish in loving, supportive community.
Numbers tell the story in beautiful ways. We are passionate about keeping families together. Through our Hosting Ministry, over 99% of children we have served have returned to their families, avoiding foster care. With nearly 200 volunteers across 45 churches engaged in serving, children have been hosted over 1,500 times since the ministry was founded.
