Our Mission
We are a gospel-centered organization providing supportive connections, safe housing, and restorative services for women and families, empowering them to gain stability and thrive in community
Our Vision
For every isolated family to discover the hope of the Gospel in a Christ-centered community.
We seek to do the following:
Engage church partners to lead a movement of the Body of Christ that recruits volunteers to serve families
Train and equip volunteers in caring for the needs of the vulnerable by hosting children and walking alongside parents
Maintain lasting relationships between volunteers, families served, and the community
Why We Exist
To mobilize the church to serve the physical and spiritual needs of isolated families
To build relationships with families in need and provide community referrals
To empower families to gain stability and independence
Core Values

Christ-Like Service: We serve others with humility and sacrificial love, following Christ’s example of placing the well-being of others above ourselves.
Trustworthy Stewardship: We faithfully manage the resources and gifts God has given us to serve others and glorify Him.
Dignity In Care: We faithfully manage the resources and gifts God has given us to serve others and glorify Him.
Team and Board
We are a volunteer-driven, staff-supported organization. Our dedicated volunteers take New Mercies into the community, supported and directed by staff and team members who passionately invest their lives in engaging churches, supporting and training volunteers, coordinating hostings of children and coaching of parents, and much more.
Our board structure is designed to provide governance, engagement, and accountability at a local level. Our wonderful board members come from many backgrounds including business, law, management, and nonprofit advocacy.
