Partner Churches

Partner Church

A Partner Church adopts New Mercies as a ministry of the church. Partner Churches appoint a Ministry Coordinator team that is responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers. A Partner Church often contributes financially to support the ministry.

Anchor Church

In addition to the Partner Church responsibilities, the Anchor Church agrees to champion New Mercies in the local area (county or group of counties) by recruiting other Partner Churches. The Anchor Church supports volunteers who attend churches in the assigned area where the church is not yet a partner church of New Mercies. This support includes interviewing potential host families and making recommendations and debriefing host families following a hosting. An Anchor Church could also host training events for the local area.
