Sweet Moments Hosting

It is a gift to see our volunteers building special memories with children who are being hosted. Our Host Families love getting to take them on any fun adventures they had planned for the day!

Little Phoebe (age 2) recently got to be in a hosting arrangement with two of our Host Families, providing support for her mom who was working prior to having another baby. Phoebe joined in all the fun with her Host Families – especially baking and helping in the kitchen. One of the families took her on a tour of a dairy farm, and she was very excited to see the cows and try to milk them! Phoebe's other Host Family had their grandkids over to play, and she loved spending time with them, as well as giving her Host Parents lots of hugs and kisses!

This precious little girl was a joy for our Host Families to care for, and one of the families plans to continue a relationship with Phoebe's mom. They hope to go to the zoo together and see the new baby!

We’re so thankful for the flexibility of our Host Families who invited Phoebe into their daily family adventures. Her mom was blessed by being able to work, knowing that Phoebe was well taken care of. What a blessing to be able to offer safe, loving homes for children to enjoy as their parents seek stability!
