Community Through Connection: Kenyetta + Flora's Story

Kenyetta remembers the fear racing through her mind as she arrived at the New Mercies office to place her infant twin boys with their host family for a couple of days.

"I'm just like, 'What am I doing? I'm giving my kids to some total strangers'...but I was like, 'I'm going to put it in God's hands. He knows what's best, and I need the help.'"

That day, Kenyetta met Flora, the twins' host mom, and an unexpected friendship flourished.
